Teruyuki Asaoka

Experience

Teruyuki Asaoka is a Managing Director in the EQT Private Capital Asia team. Teruyuki worked for BPEA from 2021 until 2022, when the company joined forces with EQT and was renamed BPEA EQT.

Prior to joining BPEA, Teruyuki was an Executive Director at the M&A advisory group of Morgan Stanley in Tokyo. Prior to that, he worked in the healthcare coverage team in Citigroup Global Markets Japan, and before that as an associate attorney at Ushijima & Partners, a Tokyo-based corporate law firm.

Teruyuki holds an M.B.A. from the Judge Business School at Cambridge University, an LL.M. from New York University School of Law and an LL.B. from University of Tokyo Faculty of Law.
