Shengyang Shi is a Director in the Private Capital Asia team. Shengyang joined BPEA in 2015 and was part of BPEA when the company joined forces with EQT and was renamed EQT Private Capital Asia.

Before relocating to Sydney in 2024, Shengyang was based in Hong Kong where he was focused on Greater China and cross border transactions. Prior to joining BPEA, Shengyang worked for UBS and Barclays in Hong Kong where he was focused on TMT opportunities in Asia.

Shengyang holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a BSc in Quantitative Finance from the University of Hong Kong
