Jonas Persson

Jonas Persson has been an Advisor to EQT since 2013.

Jonas is an advisor to global software R&D teams and a board member of Skandia. He is the former CEO of Microsoft Sweden and has held several senior positions within Microsoft, such as COO of the Developer and Platforms Group, where he worked on cloud services and advanced application development. Previously, he was head of Microsoft mobility solutions, CTO of EMEA and field leadership roles. Jonas is currently a board member to a variety of software companies.

Jonas attended University of Uppsala, Sweden and holds a PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry.
