Carl Svantesson

Experience

With a keen interest in entrepreneurship and business development, Carl studied Business Design at the Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship, graduating with an MSc, as well as achieving an MSc in Corporate Finance at University of Gothenburg. This set the tone for Carl’s career path within the B2B software space, where he has gained first-hand experience working across three startup journeys.

Initially, Carl worked within the MarTech space at the marketing & advertising company Klikki (now known as Nordic Morning), progressing from Campaign Manager through to Head of Business Development. From here, Carl pivoted to Cyber Security, joining Detectify, the SaaS based asset and application security scanner, as the company’s CMO and later CRO, heading up Detectify's commercial strategy. Prior to joining EQT Ventures as a Deal Partner, Carl shifted into the Privacy space, joining DPOrganizer as the company’s new CEO.
