Andy Studdert has been a Senior Advisor to EQT since 2023. Andy was an Executive Vice President of First Interstate Bancorp before joining United Airlines in 1995. He served as Chief Information Officer from 1995-1997, Senior Vice President Fleet Operations from 1997-1999, and from 1999-2002 was Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of UAL Corporation and its subsidiary, United Airlines, leading the airline through the 9/11 crisis.
From 2004-2017, Andy was Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of NES Equipment Rentals, until its sale to United Rentals. He is now an Independent Corporate Director and Executive Coach, serving on the boards of Renta Group Oy, Finland, and ALTA Equipment Group, USA.
Andy speaks worldwide on Crisis Leadership and Readiness. In 2015 he established the Andrew P. Studdert Chair in Business Ethics and Crisis Leadership at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. Andy earned his B.A. degree in History from San Francisco State University, and is an SEC Audit Committee Financial Expert, holder of NACD Directorship Certification, and holds a CERT Certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight, Carnegie Mellon University.
