Xabier Etxeberria

Xabier Etxeberria has been working with EQT since 2021.

From 1988 to 1994 he worked as Plant Director at Harrison Axle, a company in the automotive sector.

From 1994 to 2012 he worked at GKN Automotive performing different executive functions at a global level such as Commercial Director, Director of Operational Systems & Purchasing, CEO GKN Freight Services as well as functions in the BoD as a director in the different JVs of the GKN Group and Chariman of GKN Spain. During this period, Xabier had an active participation in several M&A operations.

From 2012 - 2017 to 2017 he was CEO of Gamesa (currently Siemens Gamesa) a manufacturer of wind turbines.

Xabier is an Industrial Engineer and has completed postgraduate masters degrees at the Universities of Cambridge, Los Angeles and Warwick.
