Comprising seven business lines: EQT Private Equity, BPEA EQT, EQT Future, EQT Ventures, EQT Life Sciences, EQT Growth and EQT Public Value. The Private Capital segment has grown rapidly and achieved strong returns throughout its history.
EQT Private Equity
The EQT Private Equity Advisory Team has vast investment expertise, industry and sector knowledge, and extensive networks in the local business communities and societies in which it operates. With a strong sector-based approach and by maintaining a local-with-locals presence, the team is uniquely positioned to analyze companies and the markets in which they operate, and to develop proprietary investment opportunities.
BPEA EQT has been transforming Asian companies through its pan-Asian investment platform for over 25 years. With a top-down thematic origination model and value creation centered around active ownership and transformation, the team is uniquely positioned to identify and source compelling investment opportunities across the entire region.
The EQT Ventures Advisory Team aims to support great entrepreneurs throughout different stages of growth, providing access to capital and in-depth specialist experience. The EQT Ventures funds employ a multi-stage strategy to make equity investments, typically ranging from late seed rounds all the way to growth rounds. This means the EQT Ventures’ support window is wider than a typical single-phase fund.
Fully integrated into the Private Capital platform, EQT Future invests in downside protected, mature market leaders with high profitability and cash generation, while seeking to achieve impact through the products and services the companies deliver. EQT Future sets highly ambitious, objective, and measurable targets on how the business is operated, linking parts of carried interest to such targets, and aligning financial interests.
By moving beyond "doing less harm", EQT Future addresses today’s global challenges to achieve impact at scale while delivering attractive risk-adjusted returns. By applying its impact toolbox, including rigorous management and measurement tools and the use of Impact Advisors and Mission Board, EQT Future builds on sustainability expertise by adding next level impact thinking.
EQT Future is a doubling down on sustainability by focusing on two overarching themes:
- Climate & Nature
- Health & Wellbeing

With a team based in five countries across Europe, and support from EQT Group’s global network, EQT Growth’s local presence ensures direct access to many of the continent’s most-established tech hubs.
EQT Public Value
in market cap
EQT Public Value applies a private equity investing approach to the public markets by building significant influence positions in publicly-listed companies in the Northern European mid-cap space. The strategy targets undervalued, quality businesses and helps them realize their full performance potential by joining the Board of Directors and implementing value creation plans from behind the scenes. The primary value creation approach is to be a collaborative “constructivist” owner, supporting management and thereby creating sustainable long-term value for shareholders.
