Tom Collin

Tom Collin has been an Advisor to EQT since 2016.

Tom started his career at ING Bank in 1995, in France and Poland, where he founded the Corporate Banking French Desk, and then led the Debt Capital Markets and Project Finance department. He joined BBH Capital Partners in 2000, where he helped found Dominet Bank. In 2005, Tom joined the Meritas Family of Schools, a Sterling Partners portfolio company, where he led international acquisitions, operated and launched K-12 international schools in the Americas, Europe and Asia. In 2009, he joined BE Education in Shanghai as COO, where he launched the Oxford International Colleges of China. In 2013 he became CEO for Malaysia at GEMS Education. Since 2016, Tom has been advising start-ups in education and EdTech, directly and through the LearnLaunch and EduSpaze EdTech accelerators in Boston, and Singapore respectively. He is the founder of HoloTracker, an app helping teachers to develop holistic education, and Agora, a hybrid afterschool student care and enrichment platform.

Tom studied business at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, at Middlesex University, London, and Neoma Business School, Reims.
