Richard Ridinger

Richard Ridinger has been an Advisor to EQT since 2020.

In 1986, Richard started his career with Henkel KGaA in Duesseldorf, Germany, and made his career there starting in R&D, moving to Engineering, Operations Management, Global Marketing and finally managing a global Business Unit. With Cognis which was carved out from Henkel and sold to the PE -companies Permira/GS-PE in 2002, he became a member of the Executive Committee of this company. He led the Care Chemicals Division of Cognis which was the market leader for the ingredients supply to the w/w Personal Care industry. From 2012 to 2019 he was CEO of the Lonza AG, a Switzerland based leader of the global Pharma-CDMO-IndustrY. Since 2020, Richard has been acting as a professional Non-Exec Board member of a multiple number of listed and private companies.

Richard studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Karlsruhe (KIT).
