Peter Sjölander

Peter Sjölander has been an Advisor to EQT since 2010.

In 1985, Peter started his career at Mölnlycke AB. In 1989 he joined Intersport International (IIC) as Director of Marketing & Product after which he joined Nike Inc where he, over a period of fourteen years, held various senior leadership positions in Europe and the US. By early 2005 he joined Electrolux AB as SVP Product and Marketing. From 2007 to 2015 he was CEO of Helly Hansen Group. Since 2015, Peter has been acting as a professional Non-Exec Board Member and as a Senior Advisor to Private Equity firms, advising a multiple number of businesses and owners in primarily Europe and the US. Peter currently holds three Chairpersonships of Public and Privately held companies. He is a Board member of a further three companies and has previously held some ten other Non-Exec roles. Over the last eight to ten years Peter has dedicated much of his time against understanding the ongoing digital paradigm shift and what follows in its wake.

Peter holds a Master of Economics from University of Gothenburg and studied at Chalmers Institute of Technology
