Marc Stilke has been an advisor to EQT since 2020.

Marc´s areas of focus are strategies for digital transformation and sustainability, scaling of business models and value creation. Being at home in the startup as well as in the corporate world, he is a trusted sparringspartner for founders and managers, when it comes to digital strategy and growth by innovation. His own entrepreneurial experience as CEO and investor in the sectors Real Estate Tech, Classifieds and Green Tech gives him unmatched credibility for this. He is familiar with different shareholder and governance settings, whether family owned , global corporate or Private Equity. He supports founder teams in scaling their businesses and organisations as well as implementing value creation strategies after funding rounds.

As chairman since 2015 he developed the sustainable energy pioneer LichtBlick to Germany´s leading green energy provider with more then 1.7 m customers. Based on a complete transformation the company became a tech enabled integrated green energy solutions provider. In parallel he is Venture Partner at Bitstone Capital, where he acts as chairman for portfolio companies like aeditive or node energy.

As CEO of ImmobilienScout24 from 2009 to 2015 he developed the company from the leading property marketplace to the publicly traded industry platform for real estate and thus digitalized the complete value chain for buying and selling real estate in Germany. Immobilienscout24 was awarded many years as one of the top „Great Place to Work“ companies and combined financial success with innovation and inspiring culture.

As Member of the Management Board at Lycos Europe (1999 to 2004) and AdLINK Internet Media AG (2004 to 2009, part of United Internet AG) he introduced and led agile product development processes and internationalized digital advertising models across Europe. Before this he started his career as assistant to the CEO of Bertelsmann AG and led various business units within the media company.

Marc holds a Master of Economics from University of Mannheim in Germany.
