Isidoor Rutten joins EQT Private Equity Benelux as Partner

EQT is happy to announce that Isidoor Rutten, former head of TMT M&A EMEA at Goldman Sachs, will join EQT as a Partner in the Private Equity advisory team, effective September 2021.

Isidoor will be based in Amsterdam and focus on continuing to build the EQT franchise in the Benelux, including bringing his TMT expertise to the team.

Isidoor began his career at McKinsey and has spent the last 14 years working at Goldman Sachs, focusing on transactions in the Benelux region. Most recently, Isidoor headed Goldman Sachs’ TMT M&A team for EMEA, where he has worked on some of the largest and most complex M&A transactions in the region. He holds a Master of Science in aerospace engineering from Delft University of Technology and received his Master of Business Administration from INSEAD.

EQT is one of the most active private equity investors in the Benelux, with more than EUR 4 billion invested across more than 15 investments since 2010. Over the last 11 years, EQT has successfully invested in Benelux companies such as Bureau van Dijk, Koole Terminals, Desotec and Azelis.
