EQT Expansion Capital I provides mezzanine financing for the acquisition of Sportfive. The company was acquired by funds advised by Advent International.

Sportfive is a leading European sports rights agency. Its business comprises the marketing of broadcasting rights for UEFA Cup and Champions League qualifiers, World and European Championships qualification games and international friendlies. In addition Sportfive markets rights relating to certain parts of a club’s business, such as shirt sponsoring or panel advertising. Sportive has approximately 320 employees and operates in European markets including Germany, France, Italy and Spain.
