EQT finalises the acquisition of VTI
EQT Northern Europe private equity fund has today finalised the previously
announced acquisition of the Finnish based VTI Hamlin Oy. Closing of the deal
had been conditioned upon e.g. approvals from regulatory authorities, which
now are in place. The Board of Directors will include Hasse Johansson (Chief
Technical Officer, Scania AB), Thomas von Koch (Partner, EQT Partners), Tuomo
Lähdesmäki (Member of the Board e.g. Amer Oyj, Aspocomp Oyj and Orion Oyj),
Andreas Tallberg (Partner, EQT Partners) and Peter Wallenberg, Jr (President
and Chief Executive Officer, Grand Hotel Holdings AB).
In connection with the acquisition, the company is changing its name to VTI
Technologies Oy.
