EQT Scandinavia I and United Pan-Europe Communications (”UPC”) have signed an agreement for the sale of 100% of StjärnTV to UPC.
UPC networks will, including the acquisition of StjärnTV, pass over 8.8 million homes and reach more than 5.5 million subscribers thereby positioning UPC as Europe’s second largest cable operator. StjärnTV is Stockholm’s leading cable TV company with a unique star-shaped network passing 770,000 homes and 30,000 businesses.
