Peter Smith

Peter Smith is a Managing Director at EQT, where he investments across the Energy and Transportation & Logistics sectors within the firm's Infrastructure platform. Peter focuses on energy transition assets as well as electric and autonomous transportation infrastructure. Based in New York, Peter's work spans North America. Peter joined EQT in 2022. Peter holds a Bachelor's in Classics and Economics from the University of Virginia and a Master of Management Studies from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Prior to joining EQT, he was a Senior Vice President at Brookfield, focused on infrastructure investments, and previously held roles at EIG Global Energy Partners and Goldman Sachs.
