Thomas Meehan

Thomas Meehan has been serving as the Head of U.S. Asset Management for EQT Real Estate since January 2022. Prior to this, he served as Portfolio Manager for EQT Real Estate starting in September 2018. His primary responsibilities include sourcing investments and managing assets for EQT Real Estate's Core strategies.

Before joining EQT Real Estate, Mr. Meehan spent nearly ten years as Senior Vice President – Market Leader with DCT Industrial Trust (“DCT”), a position he held until DCT's sale in 2018. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing DCT’s operations, which included acquisitions, development, leasing, and the management of local teams within Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and New Jersey.

Prior to his tenure at DCT, Mr. Meehan held roles at Cornerstone Real Estate Funds and Prologis from June 2007 to October 2008 and from June 2000 to June 2007, respectively. Throughout his career, Mr. Meehan has overseen or directly executed transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $3 billion.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois. His vast experience in real estate, particularly in asset management and investment sourcing, contributes significantly to his leadership role at EQT Real Estate.
