Steven Stein

Steven Stein serves as Partner and EQT Real Estate’s Head of Leasing and Value Co-Portfolio Manager, U.S. Industrial, where he leads all industrial real estate leasing activities across North America and serves as Co-Portfolio Manager of EQT Real Estate’s U.S. Industrial Value Fund series. In this capacity, he oversees a portfolio exceeding 340 million square feet and has supervised or directly executed more than 500 lease transactions totaling over 80 million square feet. Based in Columbus, Steven's work spans the United States and Mexico, connecting EQT Real Estate’s North American industrial platform to occupier demand across a broad range of markets and tenant profiles. Steven joined EQT Real Estate in 2013, initially based in Philadelphia, where he supported leasing, development, and acquisition activity across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. He subsequently led the Central region as Managing Director, overseeing acquisitions, development, leasing, and asset management across 14 markets before assuming his current national role in 2024. Prior to joining EQT Real Estate, Steven served as Director of Development at Main Street Building and Development and began his career as a structural engineer at Cubellis in Philadelphia. Steven holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Architectural Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA with a concentration in Real Estate and Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business.
