Alok Gaur

Alok Gaur is a Partner at EQT and the Global Chief Operating Officer of EQT Real Estate, where he sits on both the Real Estate Management Group and the EQT Operating Committee. Working closely with the Global Head of EQT Real Estate, his mandate spans the full breadth of the firm's global real estate business: implementing operational strategy, driving transformation and change management, helping lead M&A activity from due diligence through integration, developing new product and fund strategies, building a data-driven reporting framework, and partnering with the leadership team on culture and senior talent development. He also remains closely involved in client relationships and capital raising, working alongside the firm's Global Client Solutions team. Based in Chicago, Alok joined EQT in December 2022 and his work spans EQT's global real estate platform across geographies and strategies worldwide. Alok holds an MBA and a BA from the University of Chicago. Prior to joining EQT, he served as Global Head of Investor Relations at LaSalle Investment Management in Chicago, where he sat on the firm's Global Management Committee. At The Carlyle Group, he served as Managing Director and Partner, leading capital raising for global real estate strategies. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at Greenhill & Co., Credit Suisse, and The John Buck Company, and began his career at Coopers & Lybrand in the Real Estate Advisory Group.
