Simon Griffiths

Simon became co-Head of EQT Future in October 2022. Simon was previously Head of Private Equity Asia Pacific, where he helped oversee the integration with BPEA. Simon joined EQT in 2009 and spent seven years in Asia, initially in Hong Kong before moving to establish the Singapore office. Simon also led EQT's first investment in Australia. Prior to EQT, Simon was Managing Partner for Bain & Company's Nordic business. There he worked very closely with EQT for over ten years, advising on over thirty investments that EQT made in the Nordic region. Simon holds an MBA (with distinction) from INSEAD, and graduated in Russian and French Literature from Oxford University.
