Rudy Dekeyser

Rudy Dekeyser is a Partner at EQT Life Sciences, where he heads the Health Economic Funds. The funds invest in medical device, digital health, and diagnostic companies whose products improve the quality of care and reduce costs across healthcare systems, reflecting EQT Life Sciences' mission to drive innovation in life sciences. Rudy was a Partner at LSP from 2012 until 2022, when the firm joined forces with EQT and was renamed EQT Life Sciences, marking his transition to Partner at EQT. He is a member of the Health Economics Fund investment committees and serves on the board of several medtech, diagnostic, digital health, agbio and biotech companies. Rudy holds a PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Ghent. Prior to joining LSP, he was co-founder and co-CEO of VIB in Belgium and was deeply involved in the foundation of the Dutch Oncode Institute. He (co-) founded multiple bio-incubators, a biotech association, and (inter)national technology transfer organizations and serves on the (advisory) board of several healthcare foundations.
