Romano Tafaj

Romano Tafaj is an Investment & Leasing Officer at EQT Real Estate, where he is responsible for acquisitions and leasing across Austria and Southern Germany. His work spans the full transaction lifecycle — from sourcing and structuring to lease-up — within EQT's European logistics platform. Based across Munich and Vienna, Romano focuses on the DACH region and the broader CEE market, with active involvement in both speculative development projects and value-add acquisitions across key logistics corridors in Austria and Bavaria. Romano joined EQT in January 2026. Prior to joining EQT, Romano worked at CTP Austria as Business Development Manager, and before that at Panattoni , where he led land acquisitions and project development across Austria. He holds a BA in Real Estate and Facility Management from the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein, an MSc in Real Estate from IFZ Zug, and an MBA in International Real Estate Management from HBC Biberach.
