Petter Weiderholm

Petter Weiderholm joined EQT in February 2016 as the CIO, responsible for EQT's internal digital transformation. In June 2018 he joined the team focusing on Digital value creation in the portfolio, became the Global Head of IT Strategy and founded EQT's Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, which he chairs. In June 2025, Petter became the Global Co-Head of EQT Digital, having previously served as Head of EQT Digital in APAC, based in Singapore from 2021. He relocated back to Stockholm in February 2026. Prior to joining EQT, Petter spent five years at Spotify in the Tech leadership team. He helped to scale the R&D organization from 70 to 700 FTE, running Global Enterprise IT and prepare the company for IPO. Before that Petter worked at SapientNitro (NASDAQ:SAPE), a global e-commerce consulting company. He has also spent several years in different tech startups in Stockholm and Linköping. Petter has more than 25 years of experience managing teams and delivering a wide range of digital transformation initiatives in the portfolio, with a focus on operational excellence, improving marketing and sales and executing loT and Al projects. He is also on the board of EQT's investment CYE, an Israeli cyber security firm specializing in data driven and fact based identification and remediation of cyber risk. Petter Weiderholm holds a M.Sc degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Linköping's Tekniska Högskola.
