Per Vegard Nerseth

Per Vegard Nerseth has been an Advisor to EQT since 2023.

Per Vegard started his career in leadership roles of SMB’s in Norway. He joined ABB in 2000, heading the Norwegian internal management consulting unit where he was heavily involved in the Group’s restructuring and divestments process in 2001-2002. He joined ABB Robotics in 2003 holding multiple local and global roles in Norway, China and Switzerland before he took the role as Global Head of ABB Robotics in 2010. During 2020 to 2023 he was the CEO for CMR Surgical, an innovative surgical robotics company in Cambridge, UK.

Per Vegard has an impressive track record of growth and profitability improvements, following major turnarounds, multiple acquisitions, entering new business areas such as digital and AI, as well as new high-tech product development programs.

Per Vegard holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Stirling University in United Kingdom and a BSC in Economics and Marketing from BI Norwegian Business School.
