Michael Brenndoerfer

Michael Brenndoerfer joined EQT Partners in August 2024 as the APAC Data Science Lead within EQT Digital, based in Singapore.

Prior to EQT, he was an Analytics Operating Partner at CPP Investments in San Francisco and a founding member of the Portfolio Value Creation team’s Advanced Analytics & AI Group. Before that, he worked at McKinsey & Company and QuantumBlack in Boston and Singapore. He began his career in Silicon Valley at IBM Research and later joined Fitbit (now Google) as a Senior Software Engineer; he has also co-founded fintech and adtech startups as CTO.

Michael holds an M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (EECS) from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from DHBW Stuttgart.
