Melissa Chang

Melissa Chang is a Managing Director at EQT, where she drives global client solutions across Asia. Based in Hong Kong, Melissa's work spans the Asia region, and she plays a central role in connecting the region's institutional investors with EQT's Private Capital Asia platform. Melissa joined EQT in 2022, when BPEA — where she had worked since 2017 — merged with EQT to form one of the largest private markets platforms globally. Prior to joining BPEA, she was a Director at Providence Equity focused on Asia business development, and before that an Associate at Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and College of Arts and Sciences respectively.
