Matt Praske

Matt Praske is Head of Sustainability at EQT Real Estate, where he defines and executes the strategy for EQT's real estate sustainability platform. He works across the full real estate portfolio to embed responsible investment practices across investments, covering energy management, renewable energy, green building certifications, and sustainability reporting frameworks. Based in Washington, DC, Matt's work spans EQT's global real estate platform, and he is closely involved in shaping how the firm approaches sustainability across its diverse asset base. Matt joined EQT in February 2022. Prior to joining EQT, he served as Director of Energy & Sustainability at WashREIT for eight years, where he managed energy and sustainability across a portfolio of office, multifamily, and retail properties. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland.
