Lousie Nissen

Louise Nissen is an Associate Director at EQT Real Estate, where she leads sustainability across the European portfolio.

With over 15 years of experience in large programme and project delivery, she specialises in executing on strategic cross-border transformation programmes with a focus on decarbonization, energy efficiency, climate risk, and sustainability integration.

At EQT Real Estate, Louise has been responsible for driving portfolio-wide sustainability strategies, ensuring that sustainability is integrated into the asset investment lifecycle with a focus on value-creation and regulatory compliance. She has also led the building of a vast sustainability data collection programme that underpins firm-wide, regulatory and investor reporting obligations. Her work sits at the intersection of investment performance and operational execution, ensuring sustainability initiatives are embedded into asset-level business plans.

Louise brings more than 15 years of cross-border programme delivery to the role. Before joining EQT, she held senior portfolio and programme management roles at Clifford Chance, leading transformation across legal and operational functions. Earlier in her career, she led GDPR and PSD2 programmes for financial services clients and worked in programme governance at Thomson Reuters.
