Kazuhiro Oya

Kazuhiro Oya is an Associate Director in Asset Management at EQT Real Estate, where he works on asset management execution for the firm's real estate portfolio in Japan. Based in Tokyo, Kazuhiro's work is focused on the Japanese real estate market, supporting EQT Real Estate's asset management activities across the country. Kazuhiro joined EQT in January 2026. Kazuhiro holds a Bachelor of Human Science, with a focus on Philosophy and Sociology, from Osaka University. Prior to joining EQT, he built an 18-year career in Japanese real estate investment and asset management. He most recently served as Vice President in Asset Management at PIMCO Prime Real Estate Japan, and before that as Manager in Investment and Asset Management at Mapletree Investments Japan, focusing on logistics properties. Earlier in his career, he was Deputy General Manager in the Investment Department at Marubeni Asset Management, where he acquired 40 properties worth approximately ¥200 billion for Marubeni Private REIT , before starting his career at CBRE.
