Josh Andrew Blair

Josh has been an advisor to EQT since 2016.

Josh has been working with EQT as the Chair of the Board for key portfolio companies. In this capacity, he currently serves as the Chair of Straive, a global EdTech, AI and data solutions leader, and the Lead Director at TELUS International (NYSE: TIXT), a global leader in providing digital customer experience solutions.

Josh is also the Co-Founder and CEO of Impro.AI, a high-tech company that enables corporations to elevate their performance. Through their AI-powered platform, Impro provides daily performance guidance to employees and organizational performance insights to executives.

Additionally, Josh is a Partner at Esplanade Ventures, a venture capital firm empowering entrepreneurs to deliver technology-based healthcare breakthroughs.

From 1995 through 2019, Josh served in increasingly senior leadership roles at TELUS Corporation, including as Group President from 2014 to 2019, overseeing TELUS International, TELUS Health, TELUS Business, TELUS Agriculture and TELUS Ventures.

Josh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria and also completed the Executive Program at the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University. In 2021, the University of Victoria awarded Mr. Blair an honorary doctorate degree in recognition of his career achievements as well as his community contributions.
