John de Koning

Experience

John de Koning is a Partner in the EQT Life Sciences team. John worked for LSP from 2006 until 2022, when LSP joined forces with EQT and was renamed EQT Life Sciences. 

Prior to joining LSP, John was the Managing Director of Semaia Pharmaceuticals in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Prior to Semaia Pharmaceuticals, John worked at the UCSF Cancer Center in San Francisco, USA, after receiving a prestigious fellowship from the Dutch Cancer Society.

John holds an MSc in Medical Biology from the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands and a PhD in Oncology from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
