Jason DeFilippis

Jason DeFilippis Investment and Leasing Officer | Greater Chicagoland Jason DeFilippis serves as an Investment and Leasing Officer for Exeter Property Group in the greater Chicagoland region, where he is responsible for sourcing acquisition opportunities and overseeing asset management. Since joining Exeter, Mr. DeFilippis has grown the Chicagoland portfolio from 3 million square feet to over 20 million square feet. Prior to Exeter, Mr. DeFilippis served as a Vice President at Sitex Group, where he managed leasing and asset management for a 4 million-square-foot portfolio spanning Chicago and New Jersey. He also led the disposition of a 2.4 million-square-foot sale to Blackstone. Before Sitex Group, Mr. DeFilippis spent twelve years at Ares Management (formerly Wrightwood Capital), managing over 4 million square feet across multiple private equity funds with holdings primarily in Chicago and extending to Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Boston, and Atlanta. Over the course of his career, he has completed more than 15 million square feet of lease transactions. Mr. DeFilippis holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, with concentrations in Finance, Entrepreneurship, and International Business. He received his B.S. in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and holds a CPA designation.
