Jason Borelli

Jason Borrelli has served as the Head of Property Management and Due Diligence for EQT Real Estate since May 2006. In this role, Mr. Borrelli is responsible for managing acquisition due diligence, property operating and capital budgets, physical property conditions, and overseeing property managers across EQT Real Estate’s numerous regional offices in the U.S.

As a member of EQT Real Estate's founding team, Mr. Borrelli brings over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry to his role. He has participated in the acquisition due diligence of approximately 1,200 buildings, totaling over 250 million square feet. Mr. Borrelli also facilitates high-volume, high-scrutiny due diligence for portfolio buyers upon their exits.

Prior to joining EQT Real Estate, Mr. Borrelli served as a Property Manager at Liberty Property Trust from 2002 to 2004. He also had two tenures at National Properties Incorporated (NPI), a multi-family operator. There, he managed property, construction, and tenant improvements from 1995 to 2002 and from 2004 to 2006. During his time at NPI, Mr. Borrelli participated in $100 million in acquisitions and development and in the disposition of NPI’s $315 million multi-family portfolio to the private equity firm Equus.

Mr. Borrelli holds both an MBA and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. His extensive experience in property management and due diligence, coupled with his educational background, contribute significantly to his successful leadership at EQT Real Estate.
