Gerald Marchel

Gerald Marchel is a Managing Director at EQT and Head of Mexico, where he leads the firm's operations and investment activities in the country, drawing on more than 16 years of institutional real estate experience across Mexico, Latin America, Canada, and the United States. Gerald joined EQT in September 2023. Prior to EQT, he served as Head of Investments and Development at Advance Real Estate, a Canadian pension-backed Mexican industrial platform, where he managed a portfolio of over 12 million square feet and led the acquisition and development of 9 million square feet, totaling $650 million in GAV. Before Advance, Gerald was a member of PSP Investments' team in Canada, where he deployed over $1 billion of equity into Mexican real estate strategies across sectors. Gerald holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and an MBA from the John Molson School of Business in Montreal. He also holds the CFA designation.
