Frank Heckes

Frank Heckes is a Partner at EQT, where he focuses on investments across the Asia-Pacific region as part of the Private Capital Asia team.  Based in Sydney, he Co-Heads both EQT's Australia and New Zealand Private Capital platform and the pan-APAC Technology platform. He is also a core member of the Portfolio Performance Review Committee and a rotating Investment Committee member. Frank joined EQT in October 2020.  Previously, Frank spent ten years at Archer Capital in Sydney, where he was a Partner and member of the firm's Investment Committee. Earlier in his career, he spent five years in the Private Equity team of TPG Capital in London and began his career in the Investment Banking division of Credit Suisse First Boston in both London and Melbourne. From 2016 to 2019, Frank also served as a Director of the Australian Investment Council, Australia's peak private capital industry body. Frank holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Melbourne.
