Christian Sinding

Experience

Christian Sinding joined EQT in 1998 from AEA Investors Inc., and after two decades with the firm, he was appointed CEO and Managing Partner in 2019. Under his leadership, EQT has quadrupled in size, becoming the fourth-largest company listed on the Swedish stock exchange. Throughout his tenure, Christian has been committed to advancing EQT’s position as a sustainable and forward-thinking leader in the private markets industry.

Before becoming CEO, Christian was Head of EQT Equity from 2011 and has worked in the Stockholm, Munich, and Copenhagen offices. He is the Chairman of EQT’s Executive Committee and a member of the Equity Partners Investment Committee. Additionally, Christian chairs the EQT Global Investment Forum and sits on the board of the EQT Foundation, where he promotes EQT’s philanthropic initiatives.
