Brian Ford

Brian Ford has been instrumental in managing the financing operations of EQT Real Estate, a leading real estate division of EQT. As the Head of Debt Capital Markets since January 2022, Mr. Ford oversees the acquisition of financing for EQT Real Estate's property investments. His purview includes single-asset and multiple-asset first mortgage debt, construction loans, and subscription lines of credit.

Before assuming the role of Head of Debt Capital Markets, Mr. Ford served as the Director of Debt Capital Markets at EQT Real Estate from January 2014 to December 2021. Throughout his time in these roles, he has successfully arranged over $10 billion in debt at EQT Real Estate. This accomplishment has allowed him to establish direct relationships with a multitude of national and regional bank balance-sheet lenders and life insurance company lenders, including Bank of America, Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank, Metlife, TIAA, and Prudential, among others.

Mr. Ford began his career at EQT Real Estate in 2011 as a Finance/Acquisition Associate. In this position, he modeled billions of dollars of potential transactions in Argus and Excel and conducted portfolio and fund performance analyses.

Prior to joining EQT Real Estate, Mr. Ford worked as an analyst in the Asset Backed Securitization group at Citigroup from 2005 to 2008. He holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame with a concentration in Investments, as well as a BS in Finance from St. Joseph's University.

Mr. Ford's experience and skill in finance and debt capital markets, demonstrated through his successful management of financing operations at EQT Real Estate, make him a key member of the organization.
