Alex Bello

Alex Bello is a Director in EQT’s Digital team, where he leads AI acceleration and technology value-creation strategies focused on EBITDA expansion across the firm’s portfolio companies. He also supports technology due diligence for new investments and leads CTO and technology-leader forums focused on AI adoption. Alex covers EQT’s North American portfolio, partnering with management teams to improve growth and operational performance through AI, data, large-scale transformation, and the modernization of legacy platforms. Prior to joining EQT in January 2022, Alex built more than 20 years of experience in senior product and engineering leadership roles across enterprise software, cybersecurity, and developer platforms, developing and scaling technology used by more than 200 million users and hundreds of global enterprises. He holds a patent in AI-driven software remediation and R&D performance analytics.
