Abhiram Rao

Abhiram Rao is a Director in the EQT Life Sciences team. Prior to joining EQT, Abhiram was on the Life Sciences team at Matrix Capital based in Boston, where he was involved in and served on the boards of a number of biopharma and healthcare investments. Prior to Matrix, he held roles in R&D and strategy at Tempus, Illumina and startups in biotechnology and genomics.Abhiram holds MS and PhD degrees in Bioengineering from Stanford University, and a BS from SUNY Buffalo, USA.
