Vania Schlogel has been an Advisor to EQT since 2017.

Vania is Managing Partner and Founder of Atwater Capital, a Media and Entertainment sector-focused investment firm. Alongside EQT, Atwater is a long-term backer of Epidemic Sound and as Chairwoman, Vania has overseen a period of consistent growth for the company. She has served as an executive at leading financial institutions, including as Chief Investment Officer of Roc Nation (founded by Shawn “Jay Z” Carter), as well as Chairwoman of the Board for LEONINE Studios (Germany's leading content production and distribution company), and as a Board Member of Mediawan (France's leading content production and distribution company), wiip Productions (award-winning producer of premium episodic content), BMG (the largest independent music publisher), and Pets at Home (a UK Fortune 500 company). Prior to founding Atwater, Vania was a member of KKR's Private Equity team, investing in the Media sector and was tasked with starting the Growth Equity division of KKR. Vania began her career in the Leveraged Finance and Capital Markets groups at Goldman Sachs in London and LA.

Vania is a graduate of UCLA, summa cum laude.
