Todd DeLaughter has been an Advisor to EQT since 2017.
Todd started his career in 1985 with Compaq Computer Corporation in Houston Texas and over the course of 14 years developed software, and managed software development, for Compaq computers, specializing in graphics subsystems. He then relocated to Nice France to manage Compaq’s telecommunications software organization. He relocated to California as HP acquired Compaq to run HP’s $1bn OpenView software division, growing the business from a $500m starting point while executing 9 M&A transactions. In 2006 he began a series of CEO roles for enterprise software companies including Opalis software in Toronto (sold to Microsoft), Mformation software in New Jersey (sold to private equity) and finally CEO for EQT owned Automic software in Vienna Austria (sold to CA Technologies). Currently Todd is Group CEO of Alpega, a leading SaaS software company in Europe providing supply chain solutions for the transportation industry. He splits time between Vienna and Austin.
Todd graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston.
