Sebastian Lorenz joined EQT in 2018 as Managing Director EQT Digital and Head of Digital Business Development. In this role, Sebastian focuses on digital transformation with a focus on growth themes.
Before joining EQT, Sebastian was responsible for Product and Marketing as Vice President Consumer in the Scout24 group. In this role, Sebastian lead the teams to build a best in class digital platform and expand the audience within 8+ European Core Markets of the car classifieds business AutoScout24.
Prior to that, Sebastian worked within the travel industry (Thomas Cook), a database software consultant and as a project manager. Sebastian holds an undergraduate degree in engineering & business (Dipl.-Wirtschaftsing. FH) from Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, graduated with an MBA degree from the same university and earned his PhD in business studies from University of Bremen.
