Samantha Yee

Samantha joined EQT in July 2025 in Hong Kong and serves as an Associate Director in EQT’s Global Network Talent team, with a focus on the APAC region.

Before joining EQT, Samantha worked in a global capacity at a Chinese-owned, conglomerate-style private equity firm, with a sector focus on insurance and banking. She supported early-stage to large-cap deals across Europe, the US, and Asia, specialising in C-level and board hiring for portfolio companies. Her work also encompassed organisational transformation, early-stage compensation design, and pre-deal due diligence. Additionally, she has served as an HR Business Partner to investment professionals within the asset management sector.

Samantha began her career in London as an executive search consultant and has developed strong industry relationships throughout her career. Most recently, she was based in Shanghai, where she focused on senior hiring for Standard Chartered Bank across Private and Wholesale Banking, as well as global functions.

She holds an MSci in Chemistry from University College London (UCL).
