Asel Ashergold

Asel joined EQT in 2025 as Director, Portfolio Talent and EQT Network.

Prior to EQT, Asel served as a Portfolio Talent Partner at Vista Equity Partners and a Director, Portfolio Human Capital at General Atlantic, where she supported the funds' portfolio companies across the full investment lifecycle—from pre-deal due diligence to c-suite executive team development, CXO and Board assessments, organizational health improvement, and compensation benchmarking. Earlier in her career, Asel worked in executive search at two globally recognized firms, Heidrick & Struggles and Korn Ferry, where she led projects to place senior executives across a broad range of functions and industries.

Asel holds a BA in Comparative Politics from Moscow State Institute on International Affairs (MGIMO), an MS in HR Management from Pace University and an ALM in Psychology from Harvard University.
