Yan Jiao （焦焱）

Yan Jiao is a Partner at EQT, where she co-heads the Healthcare team for EQT Private Capital Asia. She is responsible for sourcing, execution, and portfolio management, with a focus on the Healthcare and Services sectors. Based in Shanghai, Yan's work spans China and the broader Asia healthcare sector, connecting EQT's regional platform to one of the world's fastest-growing healthcare markets. Yan joined Baring Private Equity Asia in 2005 in Hong Kong and was the second employee in the firm's Shanghai office when it opened in 2006. Baring Private Equity Asia merged with EQT in 2022. She is a member of the EQT Private Capital Asia PPR Committee. Prior to joining Baring Private Equity Asia, Yan was an Associate at Borden Capital, an affiliate of KKR, and an Analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston in New York. She also worked at Boston Consulting Group. Yan holds dual undergraduate degrees in Economics and Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
