Sophie Newby

Sophie Newby joined EQT Partners in August 2023 and is a Director in the Private Capital Asia team based in Sydney.

Prior to joining EQT, Sophie worked at The Growth Fund focusing on private equity investments in the technology and services sectors. Prior to The Growth Fund, Sophie worked at Aware Super and UBS, based in Sydney.

Sophie holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from The University of New South Wales.
