Jimmy Mahtani

Jimmy Mahtani is a Partner of the EQT Private Capital Asia team and he is the Chairman of India, Southeast Asia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. Since joining the firm in 2006, Jimmy has been involved in numerous India and Southeast Asia transactions. He currently serves on the Board of Indira IVF, Citiustech Healthcare, Asian Institute of Gastroenterology, IGT Solutions, HDFC Credila, and Straive.

Prior to joining EQT, Jimmy was with General Atlantic in Mumbai where he founded the India office. Prior to this, Jimmy worked for Bear Stearns in the U.S.

Jimmy graduated with honors from Georgetown University with a triple major in Finance, International Business and Marketing.
