Dr Joshua Kuma

Dr Joshua Kuma is a Managing Director at EQT, where he works across Private Capital, Real Estate, and Infrastructure investments as well as corporate affairs. Based in Singapore, Joshua's work spans Asia, the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States, connecting EQT's presence in Asia to its global investment platform. Joshua joined the firm in 2011 and, over 15 years, has worked across its investment and corporate activities in the region. He is also a founding board member of BPEA Foundation Ltd in Singapore. Before joining the firm, Joshua spent his early career in Singapore's public sector and affiliated organisations, contributing to national and community bodies including the Committee on the Future Economy and the Economic Strategies Committee. His public service has been recognised with the Public Service Medal (PBM) and the Public Service Star (BBM), and he serves as a Justice of the Peace. Joshua holds a PhD in Engineering from the National University of Singapore, awarded in 2006.
