Ted Persson

Ted Persson is a Partner at EQT and Co-Head of the Scaleup Europe Fund. He joined EQT Ventures in 2015 as part of its founding team and has played a leading role in building the firm’s DeepTech investment practice, investing across robotics, simulation, advanced AI, quantum computing, space and other frontier technologies.

With a particular interest in the intersection of breakthrough technology and humans, Ted also invests in design-centric companies. Selected investments include The Exploration Company, Einride, evroc, Frontify, Heart Aerospace, Nothing, Sana Labs, SEEQC and 1X.

Before joining EQT, Ted was a founder and product designer and has been an active part of the Nordic technology ecosystem since the late 1990s.
