Andreas Aschenbrenner

Dr. Andreas Aschenbrenner joined EQT as a Partner in 2014 and is based in Munich. After heading EQT Private Equity's activities in Germany, he became a Founding Partner of EQT Future, the purpose-driven, longer-hold investment strategy launched in 2021. Andreas is Global Co-Head of the EQT Future Advisory Team, Chair of the Portfolio Review Committee, and a voting member of the EQT Future Investment Committee. In addition, he is also a member of the EQT Foundation. He currently serves on the boards of SHL Medical, Flixbus, and Desotec.

Prior to EQT, Andreas spent 14 years at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as Partner & Managing Director in Munich and Stockholm, where he was a core member of the Industrial Goods and Corporate Finance practices. Additionally, he was part of BCG’s global management team in Industrial Goods and held various management positions.

Andreas holds a Master’s degree in Law and a PhD.
